We appreciate your continued enrollment in TechCareers and will be updating our program requirements to further assist participants who have not yet found employment.

Despite the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, employers in the Information Technology and Medical sectors are still actively hiring.

In an effort to ensure that all remaining participants are actively seeking employment, all enrollees will begin using an online portal to document employment applications beginning Monday, September 14, 2020.



Additionally, remaining participants will be sorted and begin receiving job posting e-mails based on their program status:

Program Status - You should fall within one of these categories

  • Completed a training course, but did not successfully earn a CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ Certificate

  • Completed a training course and successfully earned a CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ Certificate

  • Successfully earned a CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ Certificate and enrolled in CompTIA A+

  • Completed a Medical Office training course or program



ACTION REQUIRED:

Please notify us of your enrollment intention by completing ONE of the forms below.

Either you will:

  • Remain enrolled in the TechCareers program with the understanding that you will be required to use an online portal to track employment search activity.

OR

  • Request to be exited from the TechCareers program and removed from all future communications.

 

ENROLLMENT COMMITMENT

PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM ONLY IF YOU WISH TO REMAIN ENROLLED IN THE TECHCAREERS PROGRAM.

I understand that as a participant in the TechCareers program I will be required to use an online portal to report employment search activity. I commit to applying for at least 3 positions per week. Additionally, I agree to communicate with the Program Coordinator and be responsive to requests made by the PC or other program staff. Lastly, I affirm that I will act as a representative of TechCareers when communicating with partners or potential employers. I understand that failure to adhere to these commitments will result in involuntary program exit.
